notebooks with one of the most stringent criteria in the industry. A
weight and pressure test applied up to 60 kg/100 mm diameter on the
cover and other fragile areas to ensure durability during travel. A drop
test simulates a sudden fall from a height of 74 cm when the notebook
is on. Shock and vibration tests shake the system for hours, with up to
500 Hz of vibration and 220 kg of shockwaves applied. The thermal
test ensures the palm rest temperature is under 35℃ for added
comfort. Acer commercial notebooks have achieved multiple industry
certifications, proving their trusted and durable design.

DustDefender technology is Acer's innovative design to prevent dust
accumulated inside your system. An intelligent reversing mechanism in our
cooling fan can flush out the dust. Your system will stay cool, perform faster,
and last longer.
Next gen Acer Disk-Anti Shock Protection (DASP)
technology
Next gen DASP (Disk Anti-Shock Protection) provides all around HDD
suspension (x, y, z axis) of your HDD inside an Mg-Al enclosure to prevent
physical damage of your data. HDD is also soft-mounted onto the system to
provide the extra cushion. The result is a significant improvement in
preventing HDD failure and higher MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure)
Resilient case design with carbon fiber/ Mg-Al alloy
chassis for maximum protection
Resilient Case Design comprises of carbon fiber cover with tightly integrated
reinforced Mg-Al frames (please change) from top r to bottom to uniformly
distribute all external forces and can withstand extreme pressure.
New metal-alloy hinge with AutoLock
Metal-alloy hinge with reinenforced coil for maximum hold strength. Autolock
