Research Topic : Data Flow Control & HDD-Host Interface
According to the primary Storage Lab needs, joint lab research has to be
intended for the real implementation and research at the area of HDD (electronics
part developments, firmware – hard&software developments).
The main topic for research is Data Flows control and HDD-Host Interface
developments. All research has to be maintained in following structure:
1. general concept of intellectual data flows control development;
2. interconnection of the data flow control with HDD-Host interface needs;
3. proper control structure for the HDD-Host interface-Data flows control-
Hard&Soft(Firmware)ware developments;

Application Area : Data Flow Control
The new scientific methods and approaches in basement differs from the
existed. This research has to be intended in a first case for: development and
making scientific-research apparatus (basement) which is the new stages at the
above mentioned scientific research areas. During development, the
fundamental basement only have to be used, the applied research and/or
development is excluded. During development the new scientific-research
apparatus the above mentioned areas have to be mentioned, but not like a
strictly boarders, only like a headers for the possible new or extending already
existed at the new stages of quality scientific-research developments. At the
case of necessity of changing heading of research it's necessary to point out
why and what for. At the case of approval of that changing the connection
between old and new one scientific-research developments has to be done and
explained in details. That connection could be also the possible research topic
for the further developments and research.

Embedded Systems Engineer
Common terms:
Computer related hardware understanding. Low level HDD hardware principles understanding.
HDD ATA/ATAPI interface understanding. Development and implementation code for the special
purpose controller systems (ARM based, common DSP programming principles). Familiar with
real-time (hard&soft) techniques programming. Low level hardware processes understanding.
Familiar with multithreading approach in programming and implementation. Device drivers
development experience is a plus.
OS:
Linux (glibc 2.2.5 at least), embedded Linux (uCLinux, eCos and etc.), DOS, Win32 based
Programming languages:
C, Assembler programming is a plus!
Hardware:
AIC MCUs, ARM9E series

Intelligent Data Processing Engineer
