• All purpuric, some vesicobullous lesions esp those
involving the mucocutanous junctions,a handful of
characteristic maculopapular and pustular lesions
rashes should be referred
• In all skin lesions with fever, carefully assess the
perfusion
• Early clues to dengue ,septic shock will reduce
morbidity and mortality

• Important - recognize two groups
1.
Life threatening dermatosis needing urgent
treatment and admission to PICU
2.
Dermatosis which are potentially life threatening in
the absence of adequate treatment or delay in
diagnosis.
