Deliverable and milestones
Enabling Grids for E-sciencE
• Contributions needed for the NA4 deliverables and
milestones
– Generally, a brief description of the applications under
deployment
– Contributions needed to user surveys
• Contributions needed to review the other activity
deliverables and milestones
– Try to involve more NA4 members than in EGEE

Issues
Enabling Grids for E-sciencE
• Designing a portal for end users. There is work to do to
build a portal which is more specific to some
applications
– Role of P-GRADE
• Identifying the representatives of the new partners in
the Biomed task force
• Moving from one to 3 biomedical VOs (MI, BI, DD)
– pro: more visibility in the project, deployment of specific services
(MDM)
– Con: division of forces, lack of resources for new VOs,
integration of related projects (EELA, BioinfoGRID), extra VO
management effort
