back to her family, but they did not
accept her.
 She then met a 20 year old.
 He forced her to be a prostitute.
 She soon became pregnant and 3 years
later she escaped but was sold again in
Albania and Tirana.
 Now she is trying to get back on her feet.
All over there are 27 million people
trafficked.
 People don’t even know what it is.

What is Human Trafficking?
Human trafficking is when people are sold
and forced into prostitution, drug dealing,
and slave labor, all of which are illegal.
 There
is lack of awareness among Health
Care Professionals.
There are many cases in Texas and they are
trying to enforce laws against it.
 The fact that there is only one shelter in the
U.S. for victims has to change.
 We have to get necessary funding from the
government.

 She ran away from home and didn’t want to
go back because she went through a lot of
abuses.

