Child Trafficking around the World
• In some countries parents sell
children for as little as £20 each .
• Traffickers circle natural disaster sites
looking for orphans.
• Trafficked children are forced to
become soldiers, cocoa bean
labourers, factory workers,
restaurant workers and do things
they don’t want to, like steal or work
as a house slave.
• 2 Million children are in the
commercial sex trade (UNICEF).
In 2013, 451 people under 18 were
identified as potential victims of trafficking
in the UK.
