



$3,750.

If you get caught selling drugs, you go to jail for up to 5 years,
or a fine of $75,000.


You have to be 18 to buy or drink alcohol.

The fine for public intoxication is $150.

If you are under the age of 18 and you get caught with
alcoholic drinks then you will be put in a holding cell.

It is illegal to drink and drive when your blood alcohol level
is 0.8.

Tobacco

You can smoke there are certain places you can smoke such
as bars, restaurants, and night clubs.

You have to be 18 to buy tobacco.

If you get caught selling to a minor the fine is $75,000 or up
to 5 years in jail.


In France they do have death penalty.

In France they use the guillotine.

If you murder someone you are on the death penalty in
France.

Rape was not a crime in France until 1980.

Government studies shows there are 75,000 rapes a year in
France.

Only about 10% of women file complaints about rape.

The sexual harassment law was not approved until 1992.

In 2002 a moral harassment law was passed.

In 2010 the last law against violence was passed.


If you murder someone in France you have life in prison
without parole.

Life sentence is 20-30 years in France.
