For assignment #2, plan to teach a technique
by demonstration.
Your speech should be about 5-10 minutes
long. This will follow English TEKS #4 and
SPEECH TEKS #2 (and during the
presentation you will participate in (H),
critiquing each other.
Please bring extra materials so your
audience can watch you first, then try it
themselves.
Clear your topic with me before beginning.
You must prepare a Power point.
 Use TEKS: Speech-A, B, E. & English-B,
C site sources, D, E outline/note cards/speech
prompts, F power point, G.
• Aloe vera gel (can be found next to
the hand lotions or at drug stores)
• Glitter in the color of your choice
• Essential body oil (optional)
• Any kind of container (that you
like)
• And a big enough container (to be
able to stir in)
First you get the bowl or the container you are
going to use to stir in.
Add half of a tea spoon of glitter to three table
spoons of the Aloe Vera gel.
These to materials must be in the same
container.
Add one drop of essential oil which is optional
Stir until blended all together and store at
room temperature in a small,container or jar.
Be careful with it because some people skin
are sensitive to essential oils.
I would suggest testing body glitter on a little
spot on the inside of your arm before
applying to your face or any where else.
Do not use near eyes
