What are the facts?
• 45% of women and 26% of men experience interpersonal violence. Women constitute 89% of all
those who experience 4 or more incidents of
domestic violence
• 44% of all female murder victims are killed by a
current or former partner, compared with 6% of
male victims
• The CPS convicted 3,494 women and 55,000
men for all domestic abuse-related incidents
in2009-10
What service do we offer?
The Dyn Project provides a 3 tier service:
• Advocacy
• Dyn Wales Helpline- 0808 801 0321
• Awareness Raising/dynwales.org

•Project received 373 referrals for our advocacy
service (Cardiff), previous year (513)
•Dyn Wales Helpline received over 726 calls
•Over 12,000 visits to www.dynwales.org
•Delivered training for over 150 frontline agency
staff across Wales
