1.ABSTRACT:
Some people will try to steal the property which may endanger the safety
of money in the bank, house and office .To overcome the security threat, most
people will install bunch of locks or alarm system. Security is a primary issue in a
modern domestic and office environment. The technological advancement of human
civilization has forced us to modify every aspects of our life to new standard. No
parts of human life remain untouched from the technological breakthrough Almost
all the traditional method of accomplishing the daily work is heading towards the
development. Security is the prime concern in our day-today life. Everyone wants to
be as much secure as possible.
2.OBJECTIVE:
The main goal of this project is to design a locker security system using
ARM controller technology which can be organized in bank, secured offices and
homes. In this system only authenticated person can recover money from locker.
This project is related with Embedded system technology. The main
objective of this project is, To provide good security to bank lockers by using a
unique module called ARM controller.

Keil compiler uVision 4, Language: Embedded C or Assembly, WLPRO Programmer
4.METHODOLOGY:
This project is developed for the door access facility for Bank Lockers
Safety System. The main modules in this project are 4X4 Keypad, ARM
controller unit with LCD display and Door.
This whole model will be there in the bank. This model has 4X4 keypad
for password entry to open the locker door. If the person is authorized the locker
door will be opened and if the person is unauthorized the door will not be opened.
First the person has to enter the password in order to open the door, then entered
password information will be given to ARM controller, then the ARM controller
analyses the signal and if the password is correct then the controller activates the
door(door will be opened). If the password is wrong then the controller
deactivates the door. So from this project only the Authorized person can access
his Bank locker.
5.ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES:
ADVANTAGES:
Only the authenticated person can recover money from locker.
Makes an activity safer and easier
Time saving
Sophisticated security
No manual errors.
 Need not to carry ant card.
Others cannot steel the user’s entry key.
DISADVANTAGES:
Requires Expertise.
It has less memory.
6.APPLICATIONS:
This project can be implemented in Home, School, Colleges, Companies etc…
Wherever locker security is important there we can implement this project.
7.CONCLUSION:
As this project is based on micro-controller(ARM7LPC2148) and this
can be of great use to provide security to Bank Lockers. and helps the Banker to
keep all thing safely which are present in Locker by password protection.
