DQQDE board (Vearth card)
-The DDQDE board was designed for the monitoring of the potential
to ground of the 13kA circuits.
-240 of these boards will be installed at different point on the LHC
magnet chain, inside the DQLPU-S crates (30 boards/sector)

Design of the board
-Europe card 160mm x 100mm (without front panel)
-The design of this board is mostly identical to the one of others QPS
electronic boards (DQQBS,DQQDC). But with only one circuit per
card (two for DDQBS,..)
Input stage
-Voltage measurement Range: +/- 2085V
-Resolution: 0.2 mV (24bits)
-Board Input Impedance: 20 Mohm
(Imax= 0.1 mA)
-Possibility of disconnecting the “probe”
(During ELQA test).
Digital processing
-Aduc834 microconverter
-24bits A/D Sigma delta convertion with a
sampling of 5-100 [Hz].
I2C bus
-Communication with AMG board
trough DQLPU-Ss motherboards

State of the Production of the 240 boards
-The design is almost ready for launching the production. (we are waiting for
the arrival on the 22/10.2010 of the high voltage relay to do one more test)
-All the components were ordered and should be at CERN in the next 6 weeks.
I expect that we can send the components and the pcbs for the mounting at the
end of November.
