ethical picture
Ethics
Ethics (also known as moral philosophy) is a
branch of philosophy that addresses questions
about morality — that is, concepts such
as good and evil, right and
wrong, virtue and vice, justice, etc.
• I think this picture is ethical because it was
created to make people laugh. Anyone who is
a surfer knows that surfers love the waves so
we know its meant as a joke.
Grey
• This picture doesn't convey anything about
right or wrong so I would argue its in between
“grey” when it comes to ethics. Its just some
dogs playing.
Unethical
• I think it is morally wrong to intentionally
photograph death and destruction to convey
sadness to the viewers of your work as a
photographer. If he were a journalist it would be
fine. Apparently he was a student of photography
at the university when it happened so he should
know firsthand the trauma and anguish caused by
the event on the people of the University. I think
its wrong to remind them of an innocent man
killed by National Guard
