Amira brought her sewing and
pattern making albums to school
to show us.
This is Amira’s pattern making
album. She made it in 1997 in
Egypt.
She also brought her certificates.
She used a sewing machine to
make these designs.
All the designs are flowers. They
are different shapes and sizes.
These flowers are red, pink and
yellow and the leaves are green.
To make this design you must cut
away the material around the
sewing.
These designs are used to
decorate bedspreads, pillows
and tablecloths.
Here is another beautiful flower
design. It is purple cotton on white
cloth.
