dry. There
Are 4 layers in a rain forest . The
biggest rainforest is part of brazil
Peru and many more. There are
main animals living in each layer.

Forest floor
In this layer lives ants spiders
ladybird . In this layer it is very
stinky and muddy. Over 750 of
species of animals live in this
stinky layer. It is full of dead leaves
twigs. The forest floor is
approximately 5 foot in the air. It
is estimated that hardy 2 percent of
the sunlight reaches the forest
floor
Understory
The understory is hot and damp
and the air is very still. The leaves
and plants hardly ever even grow
12 feet but most of the plants are
about maybe 4 or 6 foot . U cant
find any sunlight in the understory
layer
Canopy LAYER
Most trees in the layer are this height.
This layer is over 100 feet tall.
Monkey birds lizards and snakes
live here . This layer is mostly the
hottest and dry layer of all the
layers.
Much of the rain is stopped by thick
foliage. Most of the biggest grow
up to the canopy layer
Emergent layer
In the emergent layer there lives monkeys
bats birds and butterflies . These animals
live there because it is hot and they like
hot places. The tallest trees can only be
in the emergent layer if they are 200
FOOT
of the ground. Most of the trunks in the
emergent layer grow to 16 foot that is like
the width of a bus. There is lots and lots
of
hotness and sunlight in the emergent layer
