Natural Habitat
• Their natural habitat is usually in Australia.
They are most common on an island near
the southeast shore of Australia.
What Do They Look Like
• They look like teddy bears but gray. They
have soft fur and a hairless nose. They
also have round ears, no tail, and a white
stomach.
What Do They Eat
• They eat eucalyptus leaves. The fully
grown ones eat about 2.5 pounds. The
baby koalas eat about 1.5 pounds of
eucalyptus leaves. They are very picky
eaters. They will only eat tender
eucalyptus leaves.
There habitat is a nice place
• Their habitat would be a grassy area with
a couple trees. Also they would have a
stream or lake because their natural
habitat is on an island so they are used to
water. It would also have a lot of
eucalyptus plants. It would be hot in there.
