YEAR
WINTER
• Temperature is low,
so the days are
colder.
• Most trees have no
leaves.
• Some animals
hibernate or migrate.
Some use their stored
food.
SPRING
• Days become warmer.
Some days are warm
some days are cool.
• Leaves start to grow on
trees. Flowers begin to
blossom.
• Animals do not hibernate
anymore.
SUMMER
• Temperature increases,
so the days are hotter.
• The trees are green
and the flowers have
bloomed.
• Animals look for food
and store it during
summer.
FALL / AUTUMN
• Days become cooler.
Some days are cold and
some days are warmer.
• Leaves of the trees start
changing their color and
falling.
• Animals begin their
migration.
