• When you are speaking to
people who are older than
you that you don’t know,
you will want to use VOUS.
• Use VOUS when speaking to
more than one person,
regardless of age.
– Kind of like Y’all.
Informal
• When you are speaking to a
person your own age or
younger.
• Used between family
members, even those older
than you.
