The Importance of Grass
• 1) How is the grass important to the three animals described
in the video?
• 2) What would happen to the populations of species if the
grass growth was slow and not plentiful?

• The boom-and-bust cycle is very common among r-selected
organisms. There is a rapid increase in the population and
then equally rapid drop off.
• Changes may be linked to predictable cycles in the
environment
