II. Renewable resources
A.Renewable resources - can regenerate (if
living) or be recycled
ex: trees; soil; water, nitrogen

raw materials for industry; soil (mix of sand, clay,
rock and humus-decaying organisms); soil renewable only if managed properly

a. soil erosion- caused by water, wind,and plowing
(plowing removes roots that hold soil in place)
