Biomass briquettes are
- biofuel for solid fuel boilers
- product of pressing waste of cane, agriculture, wood
- Used as solid fuel for fireplaces and furnaces of all types,
including solid fuel boilers of heating systems
- Ideally for heating of living quarters, baths, tents,
greenhouses, vegetable pits and etc.
- Doesn’t require expensive conversion of furnaces and
boilers, such as, for example, gas or oil
- A great alternative to coal and firewood furnaces with
low (natural) thrust, as well as for fireplaces
- no sparks during combustion, provide a smooth and
long flame when burned.
Products
«Pinikey»
in cardboard boxes of 10 kg.
«Nestro»
in bags of 40 kg
Laboratory tests for control of production and product quality
Certificate of acceptance № РЧ 0022/201 from 27.03.2012 until 27.03.2015
Tests of biomass briquettes from bulrush
Laboratory tests were carried out according to
GOST 11305, GOST 27314, GOST 11022-95 (ISO 1171-81)
Results of visual inspection - solid form cylindrical briquettes, light brown colour,
without a smell of mold and burning

Sales area
According to calculations of regional state administrations in the
Kherson region budget organizations annually consume an average of 55
thousand tons of coal, which can be replaced by biomass briquette.

Raw materials base
• Bulrush (mowing bulrush using specialized equipment allows
you to collect 10 to 20 tons per 1 hectare, in the Kherson
region of 40 000 hectares of reeds)
• Grape vine
• wood processing waste (bark, sawdust)
• Branches, pruning gardens
• Firefighters sanitary felling of woods

When working on coal gray smoke is observed. When working on briquettes smoke is
colorless, transparent. Emissions of carbon black ash and other solid particles while burning
the briquettes are virtually absent. The amount of ash while using briquettes is minimal.
Cleaning can be performed once a day. The ash can be used to fertilize soil and for
deoxidation, unlike to problems with the utilization of the slag formed during usage of coal
as a fuel
The use of biomass briquettes significantly improves working conditions for fireman
compared with coal-fired boiler work. there are no coal dust and dirt; this makes supply of
fuel to the furnace simplified and easier; doesn’t require frequent removal of slag.
One of the strongest advantages over natural gas is security. Biomass briquette is not
explosive.
Emissions from the combustion of briquettes is many times less than from combustion of
natural gas and coal.
Gluing of particles of wood and bulrush occurs due to natural substance lignin contained in
all breeds of wood and plants (bulrush, grass, etc.).
Lignin during polymerization (under the influence of temperatures above 180 ° C) is
converted into environmentally safe organic binder component that doesn’t require adding
any chemical ingredients
Environmental Impact
•
•
•
•
Reducing the number and volume of of landfills.
Decrease fire risk of forest stands
Reduce number of fires of bulrush near the settlements
Disposal of waste from pruning and stumping orchards and
vineyards by incineration.
• locally sourced renewable energy source.
• Solution to the problem of Dnypro river overgrowth with
bulrush, which leads to a decrease in species diversity of
freshwater and anadromous fish. This happens due to
reduced river flow, decrease of water exchange, flow and
water levels in the floodplains and straits. Reservoirs become
shallow turning in future in peat swamps.
