DISTRICT DEVELOPERS
Each District is supported by a Special
Olympics Ontario District Developer who is
responsible for assisting communities in all
aspects of growth and development, which
includes athletes, volunteers, school
programs and sports clubs.
In your Region, the District Developer is your
contact person with Special Olympics.

Special Olympics Ontario has shown an interest
in participating in both the Knights of Columbus
Free Throw Competition and Soccer Challenge.
Councils and Districts are asked to please invite
and assist the Special Olympians in their areas to
take part in the different levels of competition
(School, Council, District, etc.).
FUNDRAISING
The Ontario Knights have raised over $84,000
for Special Olympics during 2009/2010…
• 50/50 Draws – $40,000
• Donations – $27,500 (including
funds for Hometown Games)
• Tootsie Rolls – $16,700
