Managed Services Markets
The Insight report, released earlier this week, pegs the 2013 global managed services
market at $152 billion. In the U.S., businesses ranging from enterprise to SMB will spend $34
billion managed IT and telephony services. Over the next four years, managed services
spending will increase 11.6 percent annually. In the U.S., the market will balloon to $51
billion.

• Based on ICMP Polling and SNMP Polling.
• XO polls devices under IMCP polling management at 5 minute intervals
and alerts customer automatically if the device is off-line.
• XO Managed Services team keeps track of performance as well as key
performance metrics through SNMP polling. Includes Bandwidth, CPU
and Memory Utilization.
• A trouble ticket is generated when an alert/event occurs.
• The XO Managed Services team is also alerted when alerts/events
occur.

• Configuration Management: XO obtains, manages and updates device
profiles and the configurations of devices under contract regardless of

• 24/7 Management Support: XO Care in conjunction with the XO Managed
Services team provides management support 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week.
• Moves, Adds, Changes & Disconnects (MACDs): XO Care and the XO
Managed Services team provide timely support for MACD requests.
• Maintenance: XO will provide hardware and software maintenance for any
XO provided device, but not for any customer provided device.
