EasyAccess 2.0, access your HMI
remotely from anywhere
If you are familiar with tools such as MSN, SKYPE or What’s APP to
communicate with someone wherever he is, you do it without knowing his
IP address or his location. Now, Weintek offers such a remote service,
EasyAccess 2.0 which allows you to remotely connect to your Weintek
HMIs wherever you are.
EasyAccess 2.0 is as easy to use as these other instant messaging tools.
You don’t have to memorize IP
addresses of your HMIs or to
spend time parameterizing
routeurs, firewalls, mapping
ports and check each network
layer if something does not
work right…

HMIs and their attached PLCs
When accessing your process LAN from the
outside, from a non secured location (customer,
subcontractor, hotel, home…) safety becomes a
major issue. Weintek EasyAccess 2.0 software
uses SSL 128 bits encryption to garanty a
secured connection and transfered data
confidentiality.

Virtual Network Communication (VNC), based on RFB protocole, is used to share remote screens
and operations, allowing to monitor each remote HMI in real time just like you were in front of it.

EasyAccess 2.0 uses SSL VPN highly secured
technology (Secure Sockets Layer, Virtual
Private Network)
With PassThrough communication
technology, you can use your PLC
programming tool (Step7, Workshop,
FTSolution for APT…) to remotely access the
PLCs connected to your HMIs.
Additionally, HMI-PLC communication is not
impacted and you can see operation results
immediately.

cMT Viewer is a remote
visualisation software that runs
on PCs, panel PCs, tablet PCs,
iPad or Android smartphones.

When opening EasyAccess 2.0, the remote HMIs, that have been
activated for EasyAccess 2.0, are automatically detected and listed.
With a mouse click, you access the selected device and monitor its
graphics via cMT Viewer.

EasyAccess 2.0 Activation
A. You create an account and a domain domaine on https://account.ihmi.net
B. You send the HWKey number (displayed
in the EasyAccess tab of your HMI
system parameters) to NAPA . The IHM
will have to be online to get an ID, a
password and be added to a Domain.
C. You order an activation card from NAPA.
Use its activation code together with the
HWKey to activate EasyAccess 2.0. The
HMI is then added to your Domain.

will then easily be able to :
• Create users and attach one (or several)
HMI(s) to each user
• Create HMI groups and attach one (or
several) HMI(s) to each group and their

Once you login to EasyAccess 2.0 on your PC, the list of
HMIs attached to this login ID is displayed.

You can now experience the convenience and
reliability that EasyAccess 2.0 application and web
management can bring to you. With 128-bit SSL
encryption, your data is as safe as in a bank.
