Procurement
A tender was launched in 2011 to replace the Alcatel equipment
supporting the layer 1 and 2 of the GEANT Network
TDM switches – 1676 MCC supporting GEANTPlus
DWDM layer – 1626 LM supporting the transmission infrastructure
and GEANTLambda
Last year the results were announced, with the selection of Juniper and
Infinera.
