Matters to be Noted
 Turn off the power of Linux DVR without fail before the installation.
 The persons other than professional installer should not open the cover of the case of
this product at their own discretion.
 When verifying internal part of this product for system upgrade or repair of trouble,
please ask to the place of purchase without fail.
 When installing this product, maintain approximately 15cm of distance from other
nearby equipment.
 Be careful not to apply impact or shaking when Linux DVR is moved or in operation.
 Do not install at the place where there is strong magnetism or radio wave.
 Surface of wall for smooth radiation of heat. Be attentive no conductive material is
put inside the cooling ventilation hole.
 Please avoid installing at the places of high temperature such as nearby direct
sunlight or heater.
 Please avoid installing at the places where are extremely cold or highly humid.
 Before connecting the power, check the using power of AC100~240V 50/60Hz
without fail.
 This unit is designed for indoor use. Operating ambient temperature must not range
beyond (0℃~+40℃)

# 1. No recording
Answer 1 : Verify if recording icon (
) is displayed in the Surveillance Mode
Answer 2 : Verify if “recording status” in Camera Setup is Do Not Record .
If so, change it to Full Record or Schedule
Answer 3 : Verify if the setting is “record”(
status is Schedule.
) in the Schedule Setup when recording
Answer 4 : Use “REC” function in the Surveillance Mode regardless of setup data of
each camera, if necessary.
# 2. Not recording in the Schedule mode
Answer 1 : Verify if “recording status” in the Camera Setup is Schedule.
If the recording status is Full Record or Do Not Record, it won’t work
with the schedule you setup.
# 3. Not recording in the motion detecting mode
Answer 1 : Verify if “recording status” in the Camera Setup is Schedule , if you want
to use motion detecting recoding mode.

# 6. the screen of specific camera channel is OFF or the quality of image is poor.
Answer 1: Check if there is any problem with camera or camera adapter and
connection line.
# 7. No power to the DVR system
Answer 1 : Check if there is any problem with power, power cable and power connector.
# 8. Not showing Surveillance Mode after booting
Answer 1 : If it will not show Surveillance Mode after booting the system, the file system
of HDD can be damaged. Please contact the installed company, distributor or our head
office.

General
Eye-Linker program is the DVR Network Client program to be installed on the Window OS
based PC which supports remote real time monitoring, controlling, searching, backup,
setup by accessing the several Linus OS DVRs connected each other thru Network

- Eye-Linker is for remote monitoring CCTV Video channel transmitted thru network by
accessing one of several Linux DVRs connected each other by network.

: Add/Remove/Modify the groups and the lists of remote DVRs
Eye-Linker is designed for accessing to several remote DVRs at the same time.
The list of DVR groups can be chosen, then the information of these groups will be on the
screen.

- Password: Password of the remote DVR (Default: 0000)
- Memo : Description for the remote DVR

Search: To search the recorded images of remote DVR system
Click “Search”
[ Search Mode]

When you select the DVR you want to search, it shows
dates and time which have recorded images
- Bold letter date : There are recorded images on the date
- Normal letter date : No recorded images on the date

Back Up: Backup the recorded image files on remote DVR to the PC
Click “Backup” - Eye-Linker should be connected to the
remote DVR when you want to backup
- Check the date and time (Bold –
recorded images exist)

Avi Export: Backup the recorded image files which are converted to AVI format on
remote DVR to the PC. Please refer the “backup” part 7 in this manual.

IV. Eye-Linker Troubleshooting Guide
# 1. No connection to DVR
Answer 1 : Verify if network is working on the PC where the Eye-Linker is running.
Answer 2 : Check the network setup in the DVR and verify if DVR is connected to
network.
Answer 3 : Check if the remote DVR is working on.
# 2. Connected to remote DVR, but not showing any video images
Answer 1 : Edit the server you want to connect and select the cameras which are
automatically connected when you connect the DVR
Answer 2 : Check if the camera icon is on in the main screen of Eye-Linker

IV. Eye-Linker Troubleshooting Guide
# 3. Unable to search for remote DVR
Answer 1 : Check if the PC connected to the DVR.
Answer 2 : Check if there are recorded images on the date you want to search.
Answer 3 : Check if the selected camera is on.
# 4. Unable to backup when you click the backup button
Answer 1 : Check if there are recorded files on the date you want to backup. Please
refer the Backup part again.
Answer 2 : Check if the checkbox of the camera you want to backup is checked.
If no checked on the “SelectCam”, the backup cannot be progressed.
# 5. Too slow to monitor in the display mode, the Search mode or to backup
Answer 1 : If you connect to many remote DVRs, the program can be slow because of the
network bandwidth.
Answer 2 : When the speed of backup is too slow, please turn off the current
monitoring cameras in the display mode.
Answer 3 : When the speed of searching is too slow, please turn off the current
monitoring cameras in the display mode.
