• Administrator : login username and password is "
admin"
• General user : login username and password is "
user"
• (only Management / User Setting / Dialing Plan)

Request - URI: Name displayed on the LCD for the
caller. (it is as same as SIP Display and SIP Request
Name)
Login Name: User name to log in the SIP server.
Password: User password to log in to the SIP server.
Register Server IP Address: SIP Register Server IP
address.
Register Server IP Address Port: Port number of SIP
Register Server.
Outbound Proxy: Outbound Proxy server IP address.
Outbound Proxy Port: Port number of Outbound Proxy

" Phone No" : when the GW doesn' t register,the SIP Display will be

the firmware in TFTP server, even it' s the
same one.

4s Gateway implementation with PBX
• A gateway existed between PSTN and IP environment
makes the two-side communication possible
• Hardware configuration: FXS to one external line of PBX,
Ethernet adapter to Internet.
• PSTN-IP =>dial one curtain number which configured by
PBX to hear the dial tone emitted from FXS Module
• IP-PSTN =>use an IP device which registered with the
same server as 4S device to dial to any of the ports of th
is 4S device, then hear an IVR from PBX to get an
indication of dialing numbers to PSTN.

•How to catch packets?
•Run " Ethereal" .
•Click on " Capture" --> " Start ¡"on the menu bar.
•A sub-window pops up.
•Find the " Capture Filter" in the sub-window.
•Type in " host [IP for the device A] | | [IP for the device B] | | [IP for the
server] ..." (eg. host 192.168.60.23 | | 192.168.60.26 | | 192.168.1.1).
•Click on " OK" to start catching the packets.
•Make the same problem happen again
(eg. to make calls from one device to the other).
•The packets are caught on the main screen of Ethereal.
•Click on " Stop" on the tool bar (the red cross) after the problem occurs
(hang up).
