World Wide Web (WWW) Service
It supports HTTP, allowing users to
publish the HTML documents on the web
site so that users can view your files with
a Web browser, such as Microsoft
Internet Explorer.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

It supports FTP that’s used for
transferring files between computers on a
TCP/IP network



IIS 4.0(out of date): Microsoft NT server 4.0, Windows 95

IIS 5.0(Popular): Microsoft 2000 Server, Microsoft 2000

IIS 6.0 (Latest version) : Microsoft 2003 Server

Note:
1. The category depends on the platform it’s working on
2. The functions of the 3 version are almost the same. Of
course, the latest version is more powerful and reliable.
