I year
II year
Master students & Research
 Individual work of research in every
subject, concluded with papers and
presentations.
 Participation in national and international
seminars, workshops and conferences.
 Results :




More independency.
More responsibility.
More focused on particular fields.
Ready for master micro-thesis.
Master students & Research
Ready for master micro-thesis
 From the beginning of the second
year the students are advised to think
about the theses.
 Fourth semester and theses
 20 Credits X 25 = 500 hours 250 in
laboratory and 250 at home
Master students & Research
 Students and the subject of the
theses?
 It may be suggested by the Professors.
 It can be offered by the Companies
 It can be presented by the student
Master students & Research
Presented by the student
 We advice students to go through different
Universities in Europe and to see the Master and PhD
theses in these universities.
 To see the last three years conferences.
 In the period of a month or two months they have to
see around and to propose to the Professors the
Master theses, by explaining what is the difference
from the other papers and theses. 5-10% should be
new research work from the students.
 They present it in front of the Department and every
Professor can offer to them to be supervisor of these
theses.
 Results are quite good.
Master students & Research
They have to do two presentations during
the theses’ preparation.
The first presentation should be general
programs and the second presentation
has to be much more research work.
If during the preparation of the theses the
student is able to prepare any paper, or to
participate in a conference, these are
considered and it is not necessary to go
through two presentations.
Cooperation
 A good experience for our professors
 A good experience for our students
especially in the sense of being faced
perhaps with other methods.
 Testing their accumulated knowledge
during these 2 years.

From the first year experience, only three
students were graduated in the end of
November 2007, with one semester delay.
Fisnik Kraja 1 paper, 2 conferences
