September Achievements
Working Group held on 5 September 31 attended from 16 Industry
companies plus Ofcom, Openreach and BTW.
4 Broadband Condocs issues with closing dates from July 31st to
September 4th.
Openreach presented their response to Industry on the LLU Condoc
and closed the Consultation at BB/LLU WG. Work now continues at the
IMWG BB Experts Sub-Group.
September/October Work plan
Key Issues (For Discussion)
If IPstream First goes ahead, Industry are very
concerned about IPstream migration (e.g.
number of CBUK changes and impacts on their
own systems and call centres)
Many customers require out of hours grooming
especially for business customers and ask that
this is considered.
Next meeting is 9 October when Datastream and IPstream will close
consultation with BTW responding to Industry on the Condocs (closed
for Industry responses on 4 September).
Lack of commercial principles is a major
issue for Industry as they try to make
decisions on future suppliers and products.
W-BBC consultation will close at the 7 November meeting with future
BB consultation will move to BAU forums.
w-BBC Consultation will have to be extended to
November to take commercial considerations
into account.

requirements in 21CN plus a presentation at ETUG on 2

info on alternative products before 2008 as they have
long lead times.
