Navy Enterprise Model
Getting out of the “stovepipes” of commands and
communities; cost is too high the way we now do business. It
is not about operations.
Strategic management of the command’s assets, that is,
people, funds, things (e.g., computers, chairs, pens, etc.), and
processes. Using a common behavior approach.
NNWC is the Type Commander of the Navy’s Network Warfare
FORCEnet Enterprise (NNFE). We have providers and
enablers like BUMED, SPAWAR, etc. We have resource
sponsors, such as, OPNAV.
Need to have transparency across the enterprise with such
things as: processes, strategy, metrics & targets, decisionmaking, and people & culture.
