group called 'Messianic Jews.‘
Similarities
1. we both use the same Old Testament
2. many of the same teachings, prophets, etc.
3. Both groups believe in one God, heaven, hell

• Jesus went to Jerusalem around Passover,
which celebrated Jews being freed from
slavery in Egypt
• Romans were afraid Jesus speeches would
rile up those who wanted to end Roman rule
• He was crucified and 3 days later rose from
the dead to heaven, (resurrection)
• Easter celebrates his resurrection
