He was born into a
patrician family in Rome
Both his mother (Aurelia
Cottae) and father (Gaius
Julius Caesar) come from
patrician families too
Julius Caesar stayed a
patrician for just about
his whole life
Julius Caesar and the Military



Julius Caesar is most likely one
of the greatest generals of all
time
Julius Caesar is ranked up with
Alexander the Great, Hannibal,
and Napoleon Bonaparte
because of his great leadership
skills
Some of Caesar’s legions
include Legio Germanica,
Gallica, Macedonica, Alaude,
Ferrata, Clandia, Augusta,
Hispana, Equestris, Claudia,
Fulninata, and Gemina

Caesar proposed many
laws to the government
of Rome
Caesar destroyed the
Republic because he
wanted Rome to be run
by 1 man only and he
wanted that man to be
him
Caesar turned Rome into
a totalitarian state and
crushed democracy

enemies during his
lifetime
 Some of his enemies
include the Senate,
Pompey, Africa,
Spain, and many
more


along with Julius so well

was Pompey

as the Germans, the
Nervii, the Helvetians,
and the Gauls


Caesar was famous
for being one of the
greatest leaders of all
time
 One of Caesar’s
greatest impacts on
the Roman Republic
was that he was a
magnificent general

