Message from Dr Kokiet
Dr Kokiet would like to thank all his patients for their support over the years,
the overwhelming gifts, cards and kind messages of goodwill. He wishes you
all good health and happiness.
Named GP
Any patient who had Dr Kokiet listed as their nominated GP have been
transferred to Dr Hamilton, Dr Holt or Dr Mustafa. Please note, this does not
affect your right to see any Doctor in the Practice, however, if you are not
happy with this decision, please see a Receptionist who will be happy to
change this to a Doctor of your choice.
Due to time constraints and cost, letters will not be sent out to patients to
advise of this.
Dr R Mustafa
We welcome full time Dr Rashad Mustafa, you may recall Dr Mustafa worked
with us previously and more recently covering Mondays.
He will be available Monday to Thursday.

If you are not well:
Your nearest pharmacist, available over the telephone
Call 111 if you need medical help, but NOT life threatening, or if you’re
not sure where to get help, an adviser will help and advise you, this
service is available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Calls are free from
mobiles and landlines.
Visit a walk in centre if able to.
Contact your G.P. Bedford House can offer doctors/nurse advice over the
phone. Just call 0161-330-9880
For all life threatening emergencies go straight to accident and
emergency. If not sure contact 111 immediately.

Appointment Times
The Doctors are allocated 10 minutes per patient, some problems being more
complex than others. If you have more than one problem that you wish to
discuss, please advise the receptionist when booking the appointment as a
double appointment may be necessary, otherwise the Doctor may ask you to
return at another time if they feel they have insufficient time to deal with more
than one problem. Your co-operation is appreciated
Publication of Earnings
It is now a contractual requirement for practices to publish their mean average
earnings
for year 2014/15 these can be found on our website - go to
www.bedfordhousemedicalcentre.co.uk
Patient Access
Patient Access (Online Appointments/Prescriptions) patients will be able to view
a summary of their medical record which includes:- medications, allergies and
adverse reactions.
Contact the surgery and speak to a receptionist who will be able sign you up and
give the information you need.
Foodbank
Please keep up the good work by continuing to donate food products that we
send to the local Foodbank on a monthly basis
