for many years
• eg shoulder pain that is
treated with medicine
• eg. heart attack (心梗)
that needs bypass

• stroke: 中风 a sudden stop to the blood
supply in the brain, due to a blockage or to
bleeding. The brain is damaged and the
patient can’t move on one side of their
body.
