What is Health Vault?
Health Vault is a on-line personal health
record system
Health information stored in one central
location
Provides easy access to patient
information such as current
medications, past medical
history (PMA) and allergies
What is HealthVault?
Users can upload patient data from
compatible devices to a Health Vault
record
Patient information can be viewed from a
portable device
Healthcare issues can be viewed by
physicians/nurses from a computer to
track progress (Microsoft, 2009)
