Follow the following mandatory steps before data restore :
Send an email at [email protected] along with following information:
 Software Type.
 Database Name.
 Reason.
 Lic. No & A/c ID.
 Inform to License Department and get the database id for the product activation of respective
database .
 To restore database do the following :
 Delete existing database.
 Create the new database with same name as deleted.
 Tune and import the database.
 Product activation.
 Go to start.
 Select Program.
 Select Oracle-OraHome92.
 Select Configuration and Migration Tool.
 Select Database Configuration Assistant.
 Following window will open:
1. Click on Next.
2. Select :Delete a database.
3.Click on Next.
4. Select the database
for deletion which
needs to be restored.
5. Click on OK.
6. This message
will display.
7. Click on
Yes.
8. Database
deletion is in
progress.
Note: Do not stop
processing.
9. Click on Yes.
1. Tick on Create a
Database
2. Click on next
3. Select General
purpose.
4. Click on Next.
5. Enter Database
name.
6. Click on Next.
7. Select Shared
Server Mode.
8. Click on Finish.
9. Click On OK
10. Database creation
is in progress.
11. Enter password
in each user (e.g.
s). It is mandatory.
12. Click on Exit .
 Run licclient.exe and click on tuned database.
Enter password
(Password must be the
same at the time of
Oracle database
creation)
Select Oracle Version
Enter Database Name
Browse backup dat file.
Click on this button.
Note: Make sure that database must be created before tuning database
Do not close the command prompt as the database import is in progress.
Follow the following steps to activate product
 Step 1: Go to Application folder or right click on application icon >> properties >> find target
 Step 2: Find License file( Named: licclient.exe)
 Step 3: Following window will open. Click on test-I net connection and wait for the message
 Step 4 : Following window will open. Click on Ok.
NOTE - If you are get an error message please ensure that your
internet is working and if your internet is connected
through firewall please ensure that 8089 port is open.
 Step 5: Click on Product Activation

 Following window will open:
Select Database
Restored/Fin.Closing.
Select Product Type.
Enter database name.
Enter database Id given by
license department.
Click on Get Activation .
Following message will
display.
Step 6: Now Double Click on Application icon and login in to the database (NSE1314)
Step 8: And take backup of NSE1314 (i.e. Which data has been restored)
