PROCESS
1. Advanced Rice students in good standing may apply during their junior
year to the PSM program of their choice
2. Upon acceptance, they may then start taking required core courses
during their senior year.

REQUIREMENTS
• Development of study plan based on focus area
• Approval by undergrad advisor and PSM director
NOTE - Financial aid implications:
If conversion of undergraduate coursework to that of graduate level reduces
the earned undergraduate credit for any semester below that of full-time (12
hours) status!

OVERVIEW

a 3-year coordinated degree option
Students complete courses in one of the five degrees along with management
coursework for their MBA.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Each applicant submits two independent applications to MBA and PSM
Acceptance into one is not contingent upon the other
Application documentation requires GRE scores, transcripts, recommendation
letters, etc
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
75 hours of coursework incl. 30 in the PSM discipline and 45 in management
Satisfy all MBA and all PSM specific requirements

Course schedules will be planned in consultation with the PSM Program
Director and the MBA Program Advisor
PSM Internships are required, MBA internships are highly recommended
TIME LINE
All requirements can be fulfilled in 2 ½ years:
1st year: PSM course work
2nd year: MBA core courses
3rd year/ Final Semester: Missing MBA and/or PSM courses

PSM tuition during 1st year
MBA tuition during 2nd year
Distribution of tuition depending on number of courses in last year in each school.
