• Digital citizenship can be defined as appropriate,
responsible behavior while using the computer or any sort of
technology

• Digital Access is full of electronic participation
• Everyone should have a fair access to this technology
• To be productive citizens in the digital age, we need to
commit ourselves to equal digital access.
Digital Commerce
• This is electronically buying and selling goods
• The buyer/seller needs to be awear of the issues going
along with legal exchanges
Digital Communication
• This is an electronic exchange of information
• The forms of communication in the 19th century were limited
compared to what we have now
Digital Literacy
• This is the proccess of teaching and learning about todays
technology
• As newer technology comes up, users need to learn how to
use it fast and correctly
Digital Etiquette
• This is one of the most problematic areas users face
• Creating rules wont do enough. We need to teach everyone
to become responsible digital citizens
Digital Law
• Deals with the technological principles of a society
• Users need to know that stealing someones work, identity
or properity online is a crime
Digital Rights & Responsibilities
• There is a basic set of rights all digital citizens have
• In this type of society, these rights and responsibilities must
work together well
Digital Health & Wellness
• Users of this technology need to be informed about the
inherent dangers of it
• Internet addiction is a big possibility
Digital Security
• It's not good enough to trust members of our society for our
personal safety
• We need to have many protection systems for our
equipment
