Business Communication
Oral Communication
• Communication is probably
sensitivity to any affiliation, whether
it is your business, loving, or
friendly. Although there has been a
major progress in how we recognize
body language and other types of
message, verbal message continues
to be the most significant
characteristic of our interface with
other group.
Merits of Verbal Communication
• Verbal message is far more accurate
than non-verbal nods. No matter how
obvious we suppose we are being,
unlike gestures have dissimilar
understandings among different
cultures, and even between two
members of the same society.
Demerits of Verbal Communication
Verbal communication can also be
quickly forgotten, especially if there
are multiple points to consider.
Additionally, there is always the
possibility of miscommunications
leading to angry responses or quick
escalation of a situation that could
be less intense in written form.
Fundamental of Oral communication
• First, message can be used to
transmit information to the other
person.
• Second, message can be used to
ask to assist.
• The third point of communication is
to manipulate a target audience
or listener.
• The last but not least type is
entertainment

• Merits
Now-a-days world is flooded with E-mail and other
text-based message, verbal message has a number
of advantages over other types of message. For
instance, we can dawdling down and present
points one-by-one and make certain that each end
is evidently communicated and comprehended
before moving to the next spot.
• Demerits
Of course, this does not mean that verbal
communication is the best option in every
circumstance. From a legal point of view, verbal
communication is sometimes problematic
because there is a much smaller chance of an
objective record.
Emotional Intelligence:
• It is the ability to recognize
emotions, expressions, and mingle
emotions in order to support your
thoughts, figure out emotions and to
adjust emotions to give confidence to
personal development. EI is
considerably a huge term which is
broadly used in the workplace.

used in the work place
Assessment: It is very important to know how
to assess the employees in your organization, how to
assess their performance, and how to negotiate with
them.
Recruitment: Implement psychological
strategy when recruit. Make communication strategies
in order to hire the person who fits the job.
• Personal Development: Know how to
groom people working in the organization and
improve their communication skills.
• Leadership: Good leaders always has strong
knowledge and experience, and excellent
conveying power to the target audience, who
adds the diversifications in different areas and
better work on the inadequacy.

It is defined as where teams bring
innovation and manage different
events for instance, workshops,
meetings, seminar, and different
celebration events
Barriers in oral communication
There is much alertness has been lacking
concentration on the path of the
communication flow, but very little
concentration is paid on the degree of
information in the message fetter.
Overcoming communication barrier
• Don't fail to see the importance of upper level
communication from a subordinate or imaginative
communication with an employee.
• Don't block the channel of communication.
• It is healthier for a manager, to convey too much
information downward the chain of control than to
convey too little.
• Pay interest to the assortment of the structure in which
the message will be transmitted
