METHODOLOGY
Paper survey
120 Participants (101 valid, 19 invalid)
Data collected in two weeks
• ( between 9th February 2014 and 22nd February 2014)
26 Q was rated on a Likert scale that range from
strongly disagree (1) to strongly agree (5).
• first 18 Q is to classify the factors into five sections
• 8 statements to find out the different communication
method.

CONCLUSION
1. what drives students to use smartphone
• five factors of the intentions of smartphone use
• the result indicated communicate via smartphone already become
students’ mainly social communication method.
2. do these well-being condition continually transform to the
disability to communicate with people face to face?
• using smartphones would not cause the disability of communication
with people face to face.
• highly involved with using smartphone to stay connected with
friends and family.
