behaviors that includes all forms of communication
except words.

Relating to Verbal Communication
Nonverbal behaviors can support, or reinforce
verbal messages.

Nonverbal messages can also be used as a
substitute for verbal message. Give an
example of this happening in our day to day
life.

on this level.
Like other forms of communication, nonverbal
communication is also highly contextual. What does that
mean? How would a competent communicator address

Nonverbal symbols are ambiguous and happen quickly.
There is a cultural nature to nonverbal communication.
