Homework 8
In general, is it ethical for a CEO of a
company to blog or post comments,
especially the bad ones, about its rivals on a
public forum anonymously?
Or, is it perfectly fine because the CEO is
exercising his/her freedom of speech? If this
is the case, do you think the comments
posted would be unbiased? Would they be
qualified as "insider" information?
Homework 8
In the case of Whole Foods' CEO, he posted
bad comments about its rival a week before
Whole Foods announced to acquire it. Do
you think he blogged for personal gain?
The CEO of Whole Foods did not admitted he
had done anything wrong at first, a week
later, he apologized for what he did. Do you
think he should be punished?
Anything you could related to the 2 articles
above.
