Information About Our Wonderful
Country.
It carries Seven warring states that were once part of an
earlier empire.
Though its militaristic and has strict legalism, China is more
of a fair country.
Great agriculture of rice, barley, and wheat plus cattle = food
source= population= growth=recruits= strong
military=protection
Our roads, written language, and measurements were
adjusted so that no matter what states we reside in we will
be able to easily keep track and understand.
Social Awesomeness
In China the Emperor carries the highest social standing much like
other civilizations.
Bureaucrats were next they held the second highest standing.
Entitled to attend the academy the school for specific occupations.
Landed class also known as landlords were feared by the Emperor
because they held the ability to build a personal army and take over
the empire.
Presents made up most of the population and was highly regarded
due to most of them being farmers and supplying the country with
food. But sadly most of them are still quite poor because land
owners refused to pay taxes, but that’s a small price to pay for living
in our beautiful country.
Last are the merchants though they are very productive they are
considered disgraceful and less honorable. So if you’re a merchant
keep it under wraps and don’t tell anyone.
Religious Information
Buddhism traveled to China from India by traders.
After the collapse of the Han Dynasty the Sui Dynasty came.
It was a long line of Instability>Buddhism>Unification. Many
felt that the religion was a savior.
In the very beginning the new religion had very little state
support but gradually it came through and is now one of the
most religious traditions of China.
Another religion would be Confucianism created by a man
named Confucius( Kong Fuzie)
Created to help calm the disorder in China after the fall of
Han Dynasty.
Family Life
Peasants carried out a nuclear family with 2 to 3
generations in a home.
Wealthier families could afford housing for such
families.
Men were in charge of everything except for
domesticated actions.
Women were not allowed to think for themselves.
When the women is young the father is in charge,
when she’s married the husband takes over and if
the husband dies then her sons take over. But
once again a small price for order and happiness.
