Who are we?
• Fulbright Program was established in
1946. Norway joined in 1949.
• Receives financial support from both
governments:
Norway:
US: 30%

Two Separate
Functions:
• Fulbright Grant Programs
– The Fulbright Program deepens mutual
understanding between the United States and
Norway by providing grants for the exchange of
graduate students, teachers, scholars, and
professionals.
• Educational Advising
– The center strives to provide accurate,
comprehensive, current, and unbiased
information on educational opportunities in the
United States.

Educational Advising Functions
• Provide impartial information about all
accredited institutions in the US to all
interested audiences
• Provide, at no charge, access to
essential materials
• Work closely with ANSA, Lånekassen
(State Educ. Loan Fund), etc.
• Two advisers - one is the current
NAFSA/OSEAS Regional
