The enhancements to SQL Server 7.0 was

Dynamic Self-Management
- eliminates the need to pre-allocate a given
amount of NT’s memory and disk space for
SQL Server
- SQL Server 7.0 is able to automatically
increase and decrease the amount of memory
and disk space required

Wizard-based Management tools
- SQL Server 7.0 introduces a set of new administrative
wizards to help perform many of the common database
management tasks.
- Replace the need to rely extensively on stored procedures.
- Primarily designed to help the new SQL Server
administrator to be immediately productive.
- Enable experienced administrator to quickly perform
common tasks

Graphical Query Analyzer
- allows you to type in SQL statements and immediately
see the results of those statements.
- has the ability to graphically show the different steps
that SQL Server uses to process a query.

helps to determine how to optimize the queries and
whether the queries will benefit by creating indices.

- A major enhancement of SQL Server 7.0 is its
support for WINDOWS 95 and 98.
- Support for Windows 9x allows SQL Server
applications to be scaled down to single desktop,
as well as into small branch-office scenario.
