DAY 2 – ROBOTS IN SPACE
EV3 SPACE CHALLENGE TRAINING
 Training: Robots in Space – EV3 Space Challenge training
 Challenge of the day: The Mars Mission – Using the robot to course
through the surface of Mars and solve mission
 Resources required:
 EV3 Mindstorms
 Chargers
 Laptops/tablets with charger
 Space challenge kit
 Space challenge mat
DAY 3 – ROBOTS IN INDUSTRIES
EV3 DESIGN ENGINEERING PROJECT
 Training: Robots in Industries – EV3 Design engineering project training
 Challenge of the day: Automate the Mundane! – Use robots to
automate a mundane day to day task
 Resources required:
 EV3 Mindstorms
 Chargers
 EV3 Expansion set
 Laptops/tablets with charger
 Some Music
DAY 4 – ROBUST ROBOTS
BASIC INTRODUCTION TO TETRIX PRIME
WITH REMOTE CONTROL
 Training: Robust Robots – Basic introduction to Tetrix Prime with
Remote Control
 Challenge of the day: Soccerbot – Play a game of Robot Soccer
 Resources required:
 Tetrix PRIME
 Tetrix expansion
 Chargers
 Laptops/tablets with charger
 Soccer mat
DAY 5 – AUTONOMOUS ROBOTS
USING TETRIX MAX WITH EV3 MINDSTORMS
 Training: Autonomous Robots – Using Tetrix Max with EV3 Mindstorms
 Challenge of the day: The bigger the better! – Build functional
robots, as big as you can!
 Resources required:
 EV3 Mindstorms
 Tetrix Max
 Chargers
 Laptops/tablets with charger

 The activity cost is AED 700.
 The Robotics activity will take place in room SS 206 at Dubai International
Academy.
 The activity is run by professional trainers from ATLAB.
