Bluebeard’s Castle
The Bluebeard’s Castle is a one-act
opera. According to the story the
duke brought a new wife: Judit to
his home. He walked her around in
his castle .
In the gloomy, dreary, damp walls
there were seven doors. At the
request of Judit, the duke opened
the first five doors, but Judit driven

past of her husband. She had to find
her destiny behind the seventh
