Purpose
•The overall purpose of having workshops on learning
strategies for new students are;
– start a process of reflecting and questioning about
learning techniques and education in general. It can
be a way to increase the quality of student learning.
– to make a package of workshops for new students
that can be used by other universities

•Compulsory workshops at the D-programme
•Work shops by mentors at the Y-programme
•Students seem to be more aware of the subjects in
the workshops – discussions about learning early in
the education
