Themes of Propaganda Posters
Patriotic appeals began to overshadow the
theme of communism and the great class
struggle
 Anti-religious themes disappeared
 Attacks on Hitler and his henchman
became prevalent


The majority of posters were produced by
young artists who created a shift towards
realism

Kukryniksky, Toidze, Koretsky, and Ivanov


but became a symbol of the time

fight the Nazis. This is the Russian
