1 : STANDARD PROPAGANDA
The sort of thing that
all parties did, eg:
 Posters
 Speeches
 Newspapers
2 : UNUSUAL TECHNIQUES





Militant appeal of flags,
uniform, drilling SA & SS.
Mass rallies in sports arenas.
Mass appeal by telling them
what they wanted to hear.
“Hitler over Germany” July
1932 election campaign.
New technology, eg. Films,
radio & records.
3 : ILLEGAL TECHNIQUES



SA prevented other parties
from campaigning freely.
SA attacked KPD rallies &
buildings (99 dead & over
1000 injured).
After Nazi victory in July
1932, SA began to attack
moderate SPD & Centre
Party offices (clearly almost
out of control).
